2004 gp Low oil light on dic

I have a 2004 grand prix. A month ago the low oil light came on so I checked my oil and it was fine. I figured it might be the oil level sensor, so yesterday I changed my oil and also swaped out the sensor thinking this would solve the problem. After reseting my oil change light I drove home with no problems. The next morning the light came back on. I hit the reset button to clear it but when I shut it off or if i start it up it comes back on low oil. I checked the level and its still good. Could it be a bad sending unit??

It's possible. It has happend to me with other parts.

are you talking low oil level or low oil pressure???

mine was low oil pressure and had it tested (was good about 40-60 psi) so they changed the sending unit and seems to be ok now.....
