Hey guys need some info and was hoping you boys could help. I know there are plenty of guys selling intakes here but i would much rather build my own. can anyone please tell me what size pipe would match the throttle body and the mass air flow sensor. is it 3.0 or 3.5 ? Going to build a duel filter system in fender and ram air under the valance and plan on using electric turbos to push air. Sounds funny huh just a project nothing to serious :-) thanks and ride safe.

you can use any size pipe btw 3" and 4" aslong as you use the appropriate connection to the throttle body. A dual filter setup is pretty much pointless along with the ram air and electric fan "Turbos". Just run a simple fenderwell intake or you are wasting your time, money and energy for something that will do absolutely nothing and no one will ever see once it is installed. Ram air only works if there is a straight route to the throttle body with no bends and obviously thats going to be impossible unless you are planning a rwd conversion. lol. The electric superchargers or whatever they are called on ebay these days are an even bigger waste. They dont create any ammount of boost and are completely untunable even if they actually did something.

Thanks for the insight, I pretty much trashed that idea LOL I will do the fender wall intake instead, do you know what size the throttle body is? 3 or 3.5? i need to buy the correct size couplers

I'm pretty sure the throttle body diameter is 3" But if it turns out to be larger than that, im assuming you will have silicone couplers, you can simply stretch the couplers out a lil bit to make them fit. It may be a snug fit, but it's better to have a tight fit than a loose one, right? Just my opinion... :D
