2004-2006 style Moog front end link failure

I replaced the end links on my 04 CompG with Moog problem solvers 2 years ago.
After doing sway bar bushings, Moog C series LCAs and new strut mounts my right side is popping.

I reached in and twisted the link on the passenger side easily, I couldn't budge the driver side. Yes I periodically grease them.

Anybody else with this style( strut to bar) have these fail?

Mine were loose when I first got the car, I used whatever one of my buddies had already purchased for his 05 before he got rid of it, think it was Raybestos advanced or something...

It's been 3 years and they're still tight as hell. My rears are already gone bad though, those were moog problem solvers I put in at the same time... I'm going to be switching to the earlier style sway and LCAs anyways, so it's not going to matter much soon. Lol

I think it was a design d'uuurrrr on behalf of GM, trying to keep a heavy FWD car from rolling with a tiny 22mm-24mm sway, and thinking that connecting them to the struts instead of the control arms would help. Lol

I had 2 front Moog links fail on my Comp G. They were both under warranty though. I too greased them often. I bought a thicker off brand rear a few years back and they are still good. I just compared a few different ones and found one brand much thicker so I went with it. I wish that I could remember the brand. Maybe Parts plus?? I recently switched over to the 06+ style LCA and Bar

I would be curious to know what brand it was.

The AC Delco professional has grease zerks but reviews say the same as stock otherwise?

I ordered another from Amazon prime which aint so fvcking prime anymore with their maybe if your fvcking lucky 2-day free shipping those fvcking low-rent bastards.

When I get the old one off I will send it back to Rock Auto for a warranty replacement and have a spare.

I really have to just get my stuff from Rock Auto no matter what.
Don't get me started on the Metal coolant elbow o-rings I got from Amazon then ordered more from Rock Auto anyway

Yes Amazon is shady. You can get some good deals there but they almost never keep the stuff in stock although it says they do. When someone orders they will contact the vendor then the vendor has to ship it to amazon then amazon ships it to the customer. That is with a lot of stuff. Some things you can get very quickly but its a crap shoot. I think I may still have 2 used moog links if you want them.

I only use Amazon for small stuff, things that are really cheap and easy to ship... Big stuff I've actually had cancelled on me after placing the order, because the vendor refused to honor their "free shipping" promise due to my location.

Now that they are using their own transit system all the dogs on the sled team would die off by the time they made it halfway.

They just used a 2 day crawl to deliver it to the post office hub.
Slow and Slower Shipping Co.

It asked if i wanted 2 day shipping and when i hit the button it changed to 3 - 5, prime is hit or miss now.

Those sled dog teams are pretty tough, they'd make it here just fine... Lol

It's the air mail that doesn't always make it. Lol bush pilots are crazy.

Got the end link today. Ordered the 27th and received today. No prob there but it said I would get it Monday.
So Prime still sucks just not as bad.

They changed the design. I wondered why they would go with an apron over the ball head instead of crimped in.
The zerks were already installed unlike the old

I think one end developed a notch or at least that's the way it feels.

Clunk pop is now gone

How hard Is it to change out the front sway bar links & bushings? I just bought them since my stock ones are worn out. They looked to be of good quality but this post leaves me less than thrilled lol....

If they make a clunk when turning out of a driveway or similar they should be replaced.
If you don't have any popping or clunking on turns, I wouldn't worry about it.
