This is my new toy. A 2003 Impreza WRX. I bought it about 2 weeks ago, here is whats been done to it so far...

[FONT=&quot]grimmspeed uppipe- ceramic coated
Perrin bellmouth down pipe all stainless 3.5 all the way back (no cats)
Opensource tune
RCE springs, sti struts
Prosport oil and boost guages
AEM UEGO wideband
3 guage cluster where stock clock was
TIC short shifter/knob
TIC Crossmember bushings
Group N tranny mount
ACT Stage 2 clutch
ACT lightweight Flywheel
PPG Straight cut hybrid gears
2.0 block and heads punched out to 2.2
port/polish done on turbo also. Runs 21lbs boost.

haha all in due time.. the body has 105k on it.. after its been rebuilt and upgraded about 1k

yeah i know the wheels were on it, i'm looking to replace them, but there are brand new tires on them, so maybe after winter.

Those wheels need to go, haha. You're only about 40 minutes from me. Maybe I'll see you around some time.
 


SO much hate for the bugeyes. I used to hate them too but I've fallen for them, specifically bugeye WRX wagons. I'd love to have one as a DD.
 
Straight cut gears must be pretty fun as well. If the STi ever needs new gears (which it shouldnt, the transmission will handle a ton of power), it's getting straight-cut 1-4 with the ratios from the 07+ STi so that I can hold the gears out longer and 5th and 6th will stay angle-cut.

i hate the wagons too. theyre so ugly imo. bugeyes arent bad when the headlights are painted to match body color to have that "evil eye" effect.

I'm saying I used to hate bugeyes but now I really want one.

And 2011 STI sedan (facelifted hawkeye) > all previous models
 
hmm parma huh? same here, only about 45 minutes away lol theres a meet at summit this saturday from 1-8 if you wanna come out...kyle isnt cuz hes being a poonanny but you should come out ballin
 


the only thing i like about the bugeyes (and the blobeyes for that matter) is that they came with the 2.0L motor instead of the 2.5L, which in turn will allow you to run more boost and actually act like a turbo car. none of this 18 pounds of boost crap you see everyone running at stage2.
 
better clutch = broken gears.

knowing that youve got a PPG set of gears i wouldnt be so concerned about it, but its always something to consider. i would never put an aftermarket clutch on my car with a stock gear box.
