2003 3.1 different than other years?

Hi, i have a 2003 grand prix se with the 3.1L and i cant find any aftermarket parts such as throttle body spacer, cold air intake,etc. Is there a difference in the 3.1L in 2003 compared to the 97 to 02 3.1L's because they make them for those years? Any help would be much appreciated!
 


no theres not a difference, first you dont need a TB spacer, cause's nothing but proplems. Best would be to top swap with a 3.4/3.5 and turbo but if you dont want to go that big with it but get a stock 3400 TB, upper/lower intakes, as for the "CAI" just make your own for like 20 bucks, just search for it theres hundreds of threads about it. Next get headers Placer-setter has some some and can be found on ebay for alot cheaper. with that and a tune and you'll be just fine as a nice DD

yes the 60* motors have medal intakes and there 2 pieces unlike the 3800 with a plastic intake, CAI=Cold Air Intake but since its in the engine bay theres really no such thing as a Cold Air because its sucking the hot air around the engine. So its really a HAI=Hot Air Intake
 
yes bolt right up, the 3400 and 3100 are the same motor they share the same block, heads, intakes everything but the 3400 is bigger so everything on the 3400 is alittle bit bigger then the 3100 so it make for a nice and easy swap

you sure there the same because i bought the upper intake and they said only certain years fit my 03 and my lower intake cracked but its still running strong,the only thing i can think has the 3.4 in 97-03 is the pontiac montana,grand am and the venture right and maybe monte carlo and if i find the upper and lower intake itd bolt right in no problems and does the 3.4 have anymore horses or takeoff
