2002 Tahoe LS ob2 port

So my dads Tahoe had a code on it yesterday and we tried to plug our scan tool into it and the scan tool would not turn on, I was wondering if their is a fuse to the ob2 port or something, because I cant find it and I plug the scan tool into my GP and it works so don't know where to turn.

You can test for power or check cigarette lighter fuse

Pretty sure it's the cig lighter fuse.

it is, just fixed this on a customers car, last weekend, they are tied togethor, its the fuse on drive side side panel.

Yeah I asked him and he said the cig lighter won't work but he told me the light randomly went off anyway lol
