2002 supercharger pulley assembly replacement

I need parts to the pulley assembly like the bolts and the bolt caps that hold on the pulley. It seems the only way I can get these is by buying a replacement belt tensioner assembly. I have found the Dayco 89610 but it doesn't look a good fit although the parts may work and they are plastic pulleys.

I have spent hours searching for the right part. Literally hours. Can someone send me in the right direction please.

The thread you posted didn't help. I have been to 3 junk yards in the area for past two months. Either the the whole deal is missing or more likely none of them are supercharged. I understand the Monte Carlo using the same engine.

If I posted something that didn't help, then we aren't on the same page.

Since you can't tell us which actual bolts you need, I'm unable to help you. Best of luck with your search, sorry I am unable to help you out.

if there was a way to only know what pulley your talking about here. might be able to help. pick a pulley off the list in bills link.

Reread your post...

Which "assembly" are you talking about?

In that thread that didn't help you, there's a great picture. Reference it and then we should be able to understand which parts/pieces you are looking for.

In the thread there is a diagram on the engine with numbers. Number 3 is attached to an arm that bolts onto the engine. I am looking for that whole sub assembly. The parts I need are the bolts that secure the pulleys to that arm and there are "caps" that go between the head bolt and pulley and keep it even I guess. I'll post a pic later.

Here is a picture of it.

I have purchased some of the "caps" through ebay but they don't quite fit right against the pulley.

so buy a new sc tensioner. it has a nut in the middle of its round body there, 13 mm 12 pt deep socket should fit inside, remove it and replace the tensioner.

That would work. But I having difficulties locating one that is "specific for my vehicle". It''s a 2002 Pontiac Grand prix 3.8l sc. Not so easy to find. I've tried google, ebay, autozone, rockauto, napa, advanced, o'reillys, summit, and more.

Pulley bolts? Try GM #12537035

Maybe not. I'll try and fix that image.

That guy, huh? Someone's gotta have a number for ya. Here's another view. Might have to order a new tensioner.

Were getting closer. The shoulder on that washer is important as it fits snug on the pulley.
