Ok I'm in Chicago and we are frozen. So today I go out start it up and let it run for 30 min shut off went out in my other car came home and when I start the Gtp it starts but shuts off before it can idle. I have a few ideas what it could be but want more input Help she needs to run

Thanks

will it idle at all or does it shut off immediately" could be a faulty coolant sensor. Does it smell like its flooded? You might try opening your air filter have someone start it while you spray starting fluid in it. See if it will stay running long enough to build up some heat. Could be frozen moisture in the TB holding the valve closed. I would almost bet its ice somewhere.

turn the key to run, then check for fuel pressure at the rail.

if its got pressure, try to start it, leave the key to run when it stalls, recheck for fuel pressure again. if its got no pressure id think the pump bit the dust. beating on the bottom of the tank can sometime make them work again. if it does works, its time for a new pump, dont trust it any more.

I think it might be I don't remember at the exact moment. But if it is how do I fix that

That's what it does it starts no problem but 5 seconds it shuts off like I said I don't recall the security light but I want to say yes it was

You can try locking and unlocking the car from outside, then starting it.

If you have a second key or a valet key, try one of them.

Thats if the light is flashing, if it isnt the issue you got other idea's to go off of.

Thanks everyone I'm going to try all these ideas out hopefully one works I just hope it's not the fuel pump. I honestly think it's the security thing or the TB or the fuel lines may be a little frozen I will keep you posted thanks again

Just wanted to let everyone know that SHES ALIVE all it turned out to be that the security system needed to relearn the key. Thanks again for all the advice. But I must say the 2013 nissan maxima that I rented is a very nice ride and fast too
