2002 grand prix wont play burned cds

i have a 2002 grand prix gt and ive tried a few times and ive tried to use 2 diffferent cd brands and they wont work in the car. im using windows media player to burn the cds and they work perfectly fine in all of our other cars but they just dont work in my pontiac. its the stock radio and i just know what to do. any suggestions???
