2002 grand prix gt shaking on acceleration

I have an 02 grand prix gt 3.8l. I bought the car 2 weeks ago, and I keep feeling a shake or vibration when I stop and accelerate from a light. When I give it more gas, it gets worse. Then when I let off the gas it goes away. My mechanic was thinking a bad cv joint or half shafts but it's tight. Any suggestions? Maybe a trasnmission?

He had it up in the air and he told me and showed me that the right front cv shaft was remanufactured

It's probably not the transmission, when you feel the vibration you'll probably feel it in the steering wheel and in the pedal. Transmissions jerk the whole car back and forth, CV shafts pull the wheel side to side.

if the vibration goes away when you let off the gas and coast at speed, thats a bad axle, most of the time you can feel what side it is.

cv axle i guess. looks liek this in hand.

Half shaft is another term for it, as it's not a full length driveshaft.

It never matters if the cv axle is tight or not, you can't see inside it. The needle bearings are getting smashed around by the balls inside the their pockets.

its what it is, your mechanic thinks so and we all think so.

if you ever drove a RWD car with a bad U joint, you'd know what it feels like. aka what your feeling now. theres two U joints in the cv shaft. they go bad and vibrate, just like a U joint on a drive shaft does.

Alright. I really appreciate everything and I'll keep you guys posted! Probably gonna get done within 2 weeks
