2002 Grand Prix - brown/green wire under hood, below fuse block. What is it?

I have a 2002 Grand Prix, and I noticed today underneath the fuse block under the hood there is a wire connection that is not connected to anything. It has a brown and green wire. Any ideas what this is for? And more importantly where does it connect to?

You got me stumped. That's a 3 pin connector with two wires on it. I was originally gonna say wheel speed sensor for that side because they plug into another run of cable that goes down to the sensor but they definitely use a 2 pin connector.

The windshield wiper fluid tank/pump is located further down inside the wheel well. I've confirmed that the pump is connected. So that's not it. I've searched the entire passenger side of the car and have not found the connector that it is supposed to plug into.

i just went outside and checked. it could be low windshield fluid sensor. the plug goes into another connector that has wires going from that down towards the pump RIGHT next to the battery. so look on the other side of the battery where those other wires by the connector are going. if you need a picture i'll take one and upload it.

Hmmm, why is your windshield fluid tank down by your wheel well? I have an 02 GP too and my fluid tank is right next to my fuse block. What GP do you have/ SE, GT or GTP? Are you the original owner? That's strang that it's down by your wheel well though.

It's probably for an option that you don't have. Tape it up. If you must know what it's for, ask BillBoost. Im thinking it may be a connector for an optional block heater.

Actually, I lied. I was just outside looking at my fuses and my windshield fluid is by the wheel well also. On the other hand, right next to my fuse block is my battery. In your picture there is a big gap between your belt system and battery (i believe). Which is strange because i do not have a space like that.
