Is it worth spending $15-20k to make it all work though?

Just the time and fab work would be spendy to stuff all that in there. Then you need a transmission that costs 3-5k just to hold the power plus stronger axles and you need to spend another thousand on the engine just to remove all the AFM/DoD stuff and build it up with better parts.
 
For the money involved in that swap I'd just look for a G8 GXP and call it done. Can be had with a 6-speed too. Just my .02
