2001 pcm in 2000 gtp

quick question hopefully. i have a 2000 gtp i want to drive to pick n pull but i want the pcm for core. i dont know how long its going to be before i can get it there. got 14 days to return the core from time of receiving. can i put my 2001 pcm in there to get to the yard? i want to keep the 2001 in case i need it so i will pull it uon delivery.

As long as both PCM's are GTP pcms they will work.

Its just that 01+ pcm have a cat diag and the 97-00 don't. And maybe a slight change from year to year for super small emissions things.
