2001 gt compressor removal?

I can see the compressor on the bottom front of the engine. I just want to know if anyone has pulled them out and do you pull it out through the wheel well? I haven't gotten to take it apart yet waiting on the reseal kit. I cant take it apart until I have the seal kit as its my daily driver.
 


I don't seem to see the write up unless your speaking of evernites post? I saw that before but his was an 08 impala.
 
same deal. a few bolts a plug and take it off. pretty sure it will drop out from the under the car. 08 imp if it was a 3800 its the same how to.
