2001 grandprix hard steering fine with traction control off.

Hi have 2001 gtp steering is fine cold ,but when hot only parking steering become hard, turn off traction control steering is a lot better.abs and traction control works fine rack is two years old cardone rack .flush fluid too.
 


My 2001 GT, this same thing happened, started out as only after driving for couple of hours, then it started doing it once it warmed up, then eventually it just stopped working all together. I ended up replacing the pump and my ps worked again for the next 30-40k miles before I got rid of it.
