2001 Grand Prix rear seat removal

Hey guys,
I have a 2001 GP and I'm going to install a pair of new 6X9 speakers in the rear deck. I have the rear bottom seat cushion out. Is there a trick to getting the back cushion out? I've removed all 4 nuts that hold the cushion in place. There's the 4 loops at the top of the cushion that hold it in place but trying to get the loops out of the holes seems impossible.

deep 10 mm socket to get the two lower nuts off. if you have fold down back seats fold them down you'll see tow more bolts holding the back to the truck.

the bottom cushion you just lift up the front, aka if you were sitting on it, you lift from what would be between your legs area on both sides. it just pops up, then slide forward and remove.

if your going to the speakers theres a few push clips holding the rear deck cover down behind the seat, then on the left side look for a wire. its to the third brake light, it has a plug just under the deck cover. un plug it, then slide the deck cover flat and out.

You need to lift up and towards you to clear the "hooks" that hold it in place.
