Good friend of mine wrecked her 2001 Grand Prix Gt Special Edition Sedan. She is trying to find out if this car is worth buying back if it is totaled. I have a few pics of front . She said when she bought it new they told her it was a "nascar edition". Any info will help.

Thats just a special edition. Not the Daytona edition. And personally it wont be worth buying back from the insurance. Unless they will sell it back for like $50 or something.

You only need to make this one post about this topic.

My guess is that the insurance company wont let them just pick parts off it. Cause yea the wheels, the spoiler, the interior, the exhaust tips, all of that you could sell due to being the special edition.

Not that I am an expert on this, but depends on how much the insurance company is offering as a buy back. Think of the car as a pick and pull vehicle. If the insurance company says "500$ to buy it out" you can probably sell the above items for a "break even" then have a junker pickup the rest of it which should net maybe 100$. Depends on what condition all the little bits and pieces worth money are in.
