2001 grand am 3.4 fuel but no start

My brother has a 2001 grand am 3.4dohc and his car isnt starting. He has fuel pressure at the rail on the pressure test valve but car doesnt fire. If fuel is added in the intake manually it runs but soon after starves for fuel. The car drove to where it sits now it was running and after he turned it off that was it. We have already replaced the pump, we can eliminate spark because it runs when fuel is added, we have pressure at the rail so what the hell am i missing? Any input greatly appriciated

Had a similar problem with a 2001 grand Am. Check all the fuses in the drivers side dash. Mine had a bunch of gunk built up on them and would not send good power to the body module if I recall correctly. The car would run for 30 seconds and die no matter what I did. Turns out it was killing power to the fuel pump after it started, I could tell because the pump would re-prime after the car stalled.
 
Actually believe it or not think it was the security system he left key forward for 15 mins and hit the key it sputtered a couple time and then it fired right up
