2001 coupe manual hvac won't stay hot?

Hi, I have a 2001 gt coupe with the driver and passanger slider heat controls. The drivers side will always be at the temp that I slide it to, however, the passanger side will either start cold or when it is hot will all of a sudden go cold. Usually you can make it go back warm by moving it up and down a couple times. It is really getting annoying though. My question is how do I fix this? Can I just get another coupe slider hvac and swap it out? I hope so. Any experience? Really appreciate it
 


as long as its the same climate control as the one you have it will work just fine. Do some junkyard hunting or check out some of the cars being parted on here and find one and swap it out (takes like 10 minutes tops) and that should fix it. Definetly a problem with the controller!
 
Glad to hea. I was hoping so. I will soon look deep into the parting of rides in here soon. Most junk yards here are four doors, so I hope I can help someone out here and pick one up from a part out.
