2001 Buick Regal GS sunroof switch HALP!!!!

k guys....i donno what to do....ive been having this issue for a while, sunroof switch is starting to go....today was a close call...opened the sunroof and wouldnt close but managed to find the sweet spot in the switch n got it closed....NOW i have to find a new switch....THAT is the problem tho....i cant fina a new used regal sunroom switch ANYWHERE! I found a few sunfire, grand am switches but i dont know if they will work! Anyone happen to have a sunroof switch for a regal? or know if any other ones from the GM lineup will work???

i ordered a sunroof switch for a 01 olds intrique....or whatever there called....looks exactly the same as the one in the buick and there are only 2 in stock across canada....here is hoping it works!

Sometimes if you just type in what your looking for in google under the shopping tab you may come across it. I'm not sure what exactly the Regal's sunroof switch looks like so I'm not much help there lol. I did check ebay, but didn't come across anything. You can also try a local salvage yard, even if they don't have it some may be able or willing to get it shipped in from another.

Are you positive its the switch and not something else like the motor or track?

if you can pull the switch out, spray it out with some contact cleaner and see if that helps.

all good guys found a MINT regal in southern Alberta at a wreckers that i basically got everything i needed n more out of!
