2000 GTP fuel pump relay problems

Hi - I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP, and I had the notorious stalling issue. I did the pin bend as described on the forums and it ran great and got the car home.

I went to autozone and bought a replacement relay : Part 19271.

I plugged in the autozone relay and it wouldn't run!

Out of curiousity I checked a fuel pump relay on autozone.com for a naturally aspirated relay. It is the same part number. I thought only the SC 3.8 had the dual mode pump.

Any suggestions?

I did more research and I now know the association between the resistor and relay.
