2000 gtp battery

Hey i was just curious on the easiest way to remove the stock battery in a 2000 gtp? i'll be replacing it and it seems kind of annoying to take out.

No it is a piece of cake. Remove the + and - leads from the battery. The battery is held in place with a bolt/clamp on the bottom of the battery facing the engine. It is easiest to reach using a long ext. Remove it and then lift the battery out. If your have any problems holla.
 
On mine, I also found it a lot easier to remove the top brace that is above the battery. I just replaced my original battery last week in my 2000 GTP, so I have fresh experience. :-)
