• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

starts and runs fine but under slow acceleration at any speed it runs ruff untill I hard accelerate past it. the problem occures about the 2000 RPM range. I have replaced plugs and wires, mas air flo, throttle position, coils and modual. I cleaned all injectors and ran 3 tanks of preamum fuel with napas best injection cleaner an 1 with sea foam, still have the same problem. I had a shop run a test and it shows 2-4-6 injectors as miss fire but still firing and torque converter stressed, probably from when we did a vacuum leak test. shop told me to take it to a dealer because his test was generac and the dealer would have better information and that it might be an intake manifold problem. There isn't any water in the oil and no oil in the antifreeze and no white smoke out the exhaust. I'm stumped....

Is the CEL on? You did get the plug wires in the correct order, right? It's possible to mix some up and it will still run. Also, you did install copper or irridium plugs, right? These cars will not run properly on platinum plugs, no matter what the guy's computer at Autozone tells you.

Does it run better when cold?

CEL? yes the wires are correct and the plugs are correctand gapped. it doesn't matter cold or warm, the symptoms are the same. when I accelerate hard past the ruff spot the check engine lite blinks for a while.

the computer at the shop said 2-4-6 were misfiring, seems strange that the whole bank would be bad. the mechanic even seemed to think that there a different problem that his computer didn't have a code for. runs rough between 2 and 3000 RPM under slow acceleration. runs fine until I slowly speed up.
