2000 GT PCM Tuning Question

What would be the cheapest and best way to modify the .bin file with my PC/Laptop in my 2000 N/A Prix?? All I am simply trying to do is turn off the Emissions codes. I have a CA car in PA that I "think" the issue is the Smog Pump, which I have already replaced with a Salvage unit (which prob is no good), and I still get 1-2 codes for the Evap system related to the Pump. I do not have Emissions where I live, and I am just sick of having the light staring me in the face all the time when I am driving. The car runs great otherwise and has no other issues and there are no other codes. I did not want to spend the $120 for a ZZperformance PCM for this is only a secondary car for me, and not a "tuner" car, but, what is the software I will need to purchase to tap into my PCM to change the settings as I saw myself on another website where I can simply "turn off" these settings for the EVAP codes?? Is it cheaper than $150, or would the performance PCM be my way to go?? Or should I just live with what I got, and put some black tape over my CEL?? Lol. Thanks guys!!!

A tuner will be closer to $300.

Your best bet is to try and find someone local that has one and have them shut them off.

im in NJ, have a tuner and wont charge you anywhere near 125....im in hackensack, bout 1.5 hrs east of you if you feel like taking a drive.
