2000 grand prix sputtering

hey guys, i have a 2000 grand prix se. 3.1 motor, auto transmission. I have been haveing a problem. when i drive it for 20 min, it will sputter and not want to accelerate, like it boggs down. the other day it was raining and and it did it worse. other times it is fine. if someting is wet what could it be, or is something just bad. any help please
