Hey Guys I'm looking at improving my gas mileage (because of how much I drive for work) and adding a little power to my car. its a 2000 Grand Prix GT with nothing but normal maintenance. I was looking at this air intake on ebay and like the price and it looks like what I would basically build at auto zone but I wanted to know what you guys think. Also I live in Minnesota and its wet and snowy here would I need a shield or should I be fine?

this is now the 100th ( i exaggerate abit) intake thread this week...search box is your friend.

that one on ebay is cheap...build your own and youll be happy.. there are plenty of threads, and i mean PLENTY, that will show you step by step on making your own.

yeah, sorry if i came off as a dick there, but its a simple design and pretty hard to mess up. itll cost you all of 10 dollars at home depot or lowes for a 45* pvc elbow and a coupler to slap on the throttle body. then 10-20 for a cone.

Yeah, don't cut a rubber coupler to fit. That's what they make adapter couplers for. You could have easily found a 3.5-4" adapter coupler to go from the coupler to the pvc
