1k rms on stock electrical?

I have two 8 inch kicker comps running off a 1k rms kicker amp. Would that be fine with a stock battery and alternator? I was also wondering if I should bother with the big three upgrade. Ideas?

Big three would help and is a good starting point also is relatively cheap, I'm running 500w rms without the big three and I never have light dimming issues.

My sub amp runs 1100RMS and my speaker amp runs about 500RMS and I don't have any probelms. Stock wiring. Just a big power wire. Stock grounds. Stock alt wire.

Should be fine op... What exact model is the amp??
Also atleast run 4ga OFC wire and prolly do big 3 upgrade if you plan on upgrading in the future.....

1600rms with no electrical upgrades? that's interesting, Thanks for input.

I have some kicker 4 gauge OFC, I also have lots of zero gauge but I didn't know if the big 3 was needed with 1k rms.
No plans on upgrading.. The 8's will be the only upgrade in this GTP.

Then your fine op... That amp gives you a lot of head room also.... More than enough power for those 8's!!!

Yea. Like I said I just have a big ass power wire. It's a 1/0 that comes straight off the battery. Then I have a distribution block and a 4g going to each amp. Each amp has its own ground.
I've never had any problems with lights dimming or anything like that.

I also don't crank it up that often. I usually run it half volume or less
