Need advice on some first steps to get going. Cleaning replacing certain items. Want to get it totally done and ready for motor and trans.
 


Full suspension rebuild, replace the rack while the motor is out, new fuel pump (NOT Airtex), fuel filter, air filter, replace the front sway bar, check for rust in the rear strut towers and fix if possible seeing as your are in MI. Hopefully the roller didn't come from there.

Before you drop a motor in it be sure to change out the LIM gaskets. You could also block off the coolant ports to the TB while you're in there. Re-gasket the rest of the motor and call it a day.
