1999 GTP Stock Stereo

My '99 GTP came with an Alpine head unit but no faceplate (ie: useless).
I'm thinking about trolling the parts yards to grab a stock stereo but if I do this I want to ensure I'm getting one that will work with the Bose amp, steering wheel controls, and HUD. So my question is, what does this stereo look like (what do the face and back look like)? Do multiple stereos work on this setup? Is there a model/part number to look out for?
Furthermore, has anyone modded a stock stereo to use BT or an aux jack?

I could be wrong but I think if you're going stock it has to be programmed to vin by the dealer... Our at least my Impala was like that... Again I could be wrong

I have replaced stock radios without having to reprogram before. More than likely if you are getting a headunit from the junkyard the light behind the LED display will be burned out.
There is a couple pictures in this link.

If you are going through all that trouble and have a couple dollars to spend I purchased an adaptor for steering wheel controls and a Bluetooth headunit. It brings new life into an old car.
