1999 gt 3.8L rpms jumpy car sometimes stalls when driving or when stopping

I can here a vacume leak but I cant tell where it is comming from. the car at one point would die sometimes when comming to a stop, a few times it died while I was driving. but now the new problem. The car when I go to accel it starts jerking like the trany isn't hooking up and if you give it alot more gas it get worse and doesn't really go anywhere but if you shift the 4 speed auto-trans manually it is 80% better but performance still isn't really there.I know it is not the sensors because I replaced them with a friends. I can here a vacume leak when in park hood up giving it gas manually up and down.I also noticed when I start the car and just sit gas fumes not like leaking fuel but gas vapors escaping. sometimes the chk eng light comes on or sometimes the traction control would lite up that it is off. PLEASE if anyone can help me find the vacume lines or tell me what it could be I would really appreciate it I really miss the performance my car has always had plus it is A ******* Nitemare Thanks Charlie
 


Thanks for the quick reply when you said the fpr are you meaning the fuel pressure regulator? and can I use maf cleaner ro does it have to be carb cleaner
