1999 grand prix gtp



Okay, so its got new parts, but have to even tried swapping the coil packs around to see if the misfire follows.

Its a good chance its a coil because 3 and 6 are on the same one. But who knows untill you dig into it.
 
compression ok injectors ok tried switching coil packs around it stays with 3 and 6 scanner shows co2 sensor operating dont show anything but misfire on 3 6 i am lost
 
What type of plugs did you install? If they're platinum plugs then switch them all out for a set of copper or stock irridium plugs. Could also be 2 bad plugs. Maybe swap plugs on 1 and 3 and see if the misfire moves to 1 and 6. If so, then you have a bad plug.
 
thank you for ur help when i had a problem before i changed out the plugs coil pack icm fuel filter injectors turned out a bad plug wire which wasnt very old i saved the old icm put it back on just to see if it made any difference and that fixed it so i got a bad icm once again thank you
