I am a new member. Here is my problem, My fuel guage will read full when the car is started and then slowly fall to empty and the fuel light comes on and the fuel indicator stays on empty. This happens every time the car is started. I didn't try to fix it immediatly and during the wait to find the right time to fix it, my fuel pump went out, I changed the fuel pump and I think that I may have a new sending unit that came on the new fuel pump when I changed it. I also to make sure got another cluster and it didn't fix it. Doe anyone have another starting point? Do I need to try and ground my ground wires, or does this model have a sending unit that can be changed without changing the fuel pump, or is the wiring to the sending unit burnt in two at some point between a and b. Any help would be a start for me thanks.
