Hey everybody!
I recently acquired a '98 GTP and am in the learning process of this vehicle. There is a GM "build sheet" sticker under the deck-lid (used to be in the glovebox, wasn't it?) with what I would assume are the codes for what all this car came factory equipped. An internet search for GM build codes led me to this site.
Might anyone know how or where to decipher the 3-letter codes for this car? I'd be curious to know and appreciative of any help.
I have limited experience with PCM equipped automobiles, so I am tinkering pretty much in the dark. I like the car quite a bit and the only problems (annoyances, really) I have are with the radio display features. Any advise on who I might contact to have this repaired? The sunroof is supposedly inoperative (off track?). It is currently closed and does not leak. Before I open a bucket of worms by operating the switch, might anyone have some experience with GM sunroofs and be willing to offer some words of wisdom?
