1998 GTP snout removal with coupler replacement - oil seapage

I decided to service the supercharger by replacing the coupler and adding new oil. I believe the snout was leaking for some time. I bought the coupler from ZZP. I bought their kit which included a syringe and RTV (waterpump and thermostat). Everything went back together nicely. I tightened everything snug and then a quarter turn. In other words, all bolts are tight. Then the unthinkable, I noticed an oil film seeping from under snout. My question is this....Did I use the correct RTV? Should I have let it sit for 24 hours before pouring in oil? I will keep an eye on it. I do not feel like fussing with it again.

Any assistance is appreciated.

is the leak under the straight down bolt by any chance? mine leaked from there cause the gasket broke off under it, so i rtv'ed the bolt and sent it home, no more leak, how or why i dont know why it leaked from there.

I've sealed them up with just plain old red silicone before. I would double check to make sure that both surfaces are flat and even.

Yes, it appears to come from below the center bolt. The intake gasket did break off. I did not think it would cause an issue. Damn it!
