1998 Grand Prix GT blower/fan problems

I have the "Automatic and Auxiliary Temperature Control" system. Blower works intermittently. May be working and then when I park, turn off the engine and return....does not work. Sometimes works on "Manual Control" at two lower fan speeds. Resistor?? Ignition?? Appreciate any help...... very hot now, need the A/C. Thanks
 


beat on the steering wheel see if it then works. ( if so ignition harness) sounds like a bad blower tho, you can test for power at it, and also see if it spins freely by hand.
