1997 GTP Speaker Wire Polarity

I have a 1997 GTP four door with the 8 speaker non-Bose (Delco?) system and I need the colors for the polarity of the rear 6x9 speakers. I am going to just delete the 4" rounds, and just replace the 6x9's with a budget pair of Pyle 4 ways (yes, I am poor).

The problem I am having is every wiring diagram I find doesn't match the colors I have. Most show brown/yellow wires running the the left rear 6x9, but the brown/yellow on mine run to the left rear 4" round. The wires running to the left rear 6x9 in my car are blue/green.

Surely I don't have the only GP wired this way, so the answer must lie out there somewhere in Internetland.
 


Well, this isn't exactly like my car, but the speaker wire colors for the left rear are the same as my 6x9. I guess I can use a battery to check the right rear.

That was going to be my suggestion. Pop the speaker with a battery. Im colorblind so that's the only way I've ever done it.
