I've seen in so many threads people are always postin oh well the 97's suck because they have the ****ty trans. Well they dont. ALL 1997 GRAND PRIX GTP'S HAVE THE 4T65E-HD AND I LOVE MY 97 =)

I wouldnt be that worried about it if u have treated it nicely. I have heard that the GTP has a stronger transmission anyway.

my 97 gt has 300k, trans still shifts fresh. the car was stock its whole life, driven every day.

if you take care of the trans, it will take care of you

to clear up any confusion
