1997 grand prix gtp 205k miles

What's up fellas so I picked up this bad boy for 800$ it was literally a steal tags up to date clean title. At 205k no codes were picked up by the scanner trannsmision shifted smooth engine ran fine and supercharger pulled well. Only has a clicking/knocking noise when the car is turned on and when it's on idle. It sounds like the noise is coming from the snout area can anyone confirm that? Also I want to lightly mod it for now zzp downpipe k&n air filter, spark plugs and wires, zzp 1.0 pcm and last a 3.4 pulley. I assume running as it is the engine really shouldn't have much problems running these mods. But later I want toupgrade to a smaller pulley, add headers, tune, cams and maybe a tvs blower. This may put too much stress on the engine at 205k so what would you guys recommend rebuilding the engine completely or swapping a lower mile engine and semi rebuilding it? the coupler inside the snout is bad, it needs to be changed.

your in CA. you cant just go putting a down pipe on. you got all that carb BS over there.....so you would need approved parts, like slp headers, or tog headers.

and you dont rebuild these engine, when they die you find a used replacement.
