1982 Pontiac Trans Am in Australia, Queensland, Brisbane

In Australia we have a huge membership based club called the "Pontiac Club of Australia". I am in the Queensland chapter, one of the states in Australia.
I have owned this Firebird for a few years now. It has a factory carbureted 305 Chevrolet engine, and a turbo 200 gearbox with a 10 bolt diff. Later on I plan to replace the engine with a 427 small block chevy engine and a turbo 400 gear box. The diff will get beefed up to lower ratio gears and tru-trac centre.
We love our rear wheel drive V8s down here and you won't believe the number of Pontiacs we have in this country. I guess you can call it the 2nd America.
We all love our Aussie and American muscle cars like you guys and we can be very competitive on and off the race track. We often take our cars to the drag and circuit tracks and have displays at most of the major car shows in this country. We may be small in population but we have a big heart for our enthusiasm.

Welcome aboard. Car looks good. Keep up the good work. By the way, I'd personally do a LSx swap vs. a carbed 427. They're a ton of fun too. :)

my mom went and picked up a brand new 82 SE firebird back in the day, it was a v6 with a 4 speed, but it got all the looks because knight rider had just come out. and well its KIT lol

your looks to be kept in some damn good shape too, keep it up.

looks funny with the steering wheel on the right side. ( to us here in the US) dont think i could ever shift properly with my left hand lol
