looking to join the gp family and get this comp g.. id love to trade in my 94 acura legend gs (154k) and get a gp gtp bc ive been drooling over them for a while. the only downside is its got 197k so it seems like it could be border lining needing a new trans, motor or more unless its been maintained well.

lmk what ya think

is it a cerified used? honestly i wouldnt do it close too 200k is to close to the grave for me, but i guarentee you thatll be the cheapest comp g youll find

If it's in great condition, work them down to $4k and sleep soundly knowing you saved $500 more for that $2000 tranny job that might be coming up in the next 50,000 - 100,000 miles.
If it's not in fantastic condition, I'd scoop to $3k.

Listen to it cold and hot, feel it shifting cold and hot, check the fluids, esp. trans (pink and happy)

I'm seeing chewed up rims, cracked(ish) leather, "modified" stereo, worn steering wheel, repainted bumper and hood (you should be seeing a ton of rock chips if it was factory paint). Rear speakers are probably shot, so bump up the volume when you test it - they should distort and buzz. Make note of everything out loud to help you work down the price. It's still a great vehicle.

my 98 grand prix has 254,000 miles on it and the engine runs perfect, it has a new transmission etc but make sure it was maintained

it sounds like they put alot of highway mileage on it and if that is the case it prolly is ok just check it out... id get it
