i was at a car show last nite and saw this.

I don't know if it is just me but I think those cars look really cool and interesting. I would never buy one but still they look very cool... A co-worker of mine has a black one, I'll post up some picts next time he drives it to work.
 
yeah im with shield i didnt no that Grand Ams were made back then i though only about 88 and up......... guess not
 


Yep '73 was the first year they came out and they stoped making them for three years made them again then stoped making them 3 years again then they just got rid of it alltogether and they came back in the mid 80's crazzy huh.
 
A friend of mine had one of those. His was white with some special edition markings IIRC. I always thought it was a cool monster.
 
Always liked the 73's better, cause they only had 3 grill slots on each side. Cleaner look. Hi-performance option (in 77) on these things was called "Can-Am" Had a Trans-Am hood scoop and as far as I remember, only came in white. Google it and you'll see.

Ding Ding Ding... Can-Am was the one my friend had. I knew it was to be newer than 75, because his car was brand new and I didn't turn 16 unitl 77.
