Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

170K miles 2000 GT worth the work??

Mirraco

One BadAzz GT Dawgg
I did LIM, plenum, valve cover gaskets, coolant flush and found out it needs the following work aswell:

Left, right control arms, bushings, one outer tie rod, power steering pump seal, and a driver wheel bearing.

All the gaskets from the first time and the coolant flush cost me roughly 700$, should I even do the suspension work or just sell the car?

I bought it for 1000$, put the 700$ into it, the car runs and drives fine. Waiting on a quote from my mechanic to see how much the rest of work will cost, im thinking over 500$

I do have someone interested in looking at it for 2250$, but if I do the work I am keeping it and driving it in the winter, if I don't im selling it asap

Currently using it for work, I don't see any issues besides its all over the road even going 35-40 and the wheel bearing noise I like the car alot

Do the work yourself, parts are cheap for this car and it's very easy to work on. If you do the gaskets and such the the rest is a cake walk. So yes, it's worth it.

Control arms and outer tie rods are straight forward - buy control arms with new bushings installed. I can't speak to the power steering pump and wheel bearing but if you've done any of the work listed above you should be able to handle any of this.

I'd read up in the how-to section on here and do the work yourself.
