Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Ok so I took the car to the track last week to put down a base line to see what just the swap got me and to have a before number to compare to after doing the topswap. with only the air intake - ported TB - HV3 - Speed Daddy Headers - Full exhaust, I put down a [email protected] I wasnt expecting it. was guessing closer to 15.1-15.3 this time puts me very close to what i ran with my DOHC engine setup. Also factor in my DOHC's 14.81 was when it was very cold out and the 14.9 i did not remove the spare tire, tools, sub box, had 3/4 tank of gas and i have gained prob 30lbs since those days. So at min a 100+ weight increase.

Not sure what the weight on the 3.4 DOHC is, but aren't the Monte's around 3200~ lbs. from the factory?

Regardless, on a cold night...with hardly any gas in it...and all the junk out of it, I don't see why you couldn't tear off another .15~ seconds. Every hundred lbs or so on average equates to a tenth~ at the traps. I think it's doable.

stock weight on the 96 Z was under 3400... with all the junk i have out of the car i figure its more like 3300 or mid 3200' with spare and misc junk out. yeah that 14.95 could drop much more with me emptying out stuff and a good cold night. the 14.81 with the DOHC was prob the best night and had all that stuff out. i did how ever hit a wet patch and spun my tires that night... you can see smoke coming off the tires and see the spinn in the data log too. also its trap speed was about 2 mph less then when i ran the 14.91 with the DOHC. but yes i am very happy with the 3800 in the car right now.

Wait until you get the top swap on and dialed in with some traction...think, mid to high 13's on a cold night I'm sure.
