13.74 @99 mph! And some kills

First time at the track with the 3.5 pulley on and the car ran pretty good. Best pass of the day was 13.74 @99 mph. Every pass I made I mopped up a different 99+ 2 valve stang haha.
Slip below was against a 2004 Kenne Bell Mustang GT. He was obviously having some tuning issues but it was a good W.

I hope my 2000 coupe picks up that much when I get my 3.4, headers, tune, and drag radials on. Is it common for these cars to drop a full second down the 1/4 mile with just these mods? Mine went a 14.68 with only an Ebay air intake.

Pretty common. Gotta figure you're adding at least 35-40 hp from the pulley alone. Plus an overkill tune makes a night and day difference. Those mods in your sig should put you in the high 13's.

Thats an amazing run. I ran 13.5 with a vs cam on a 3.4.

Just realised you were on drags. I was on street tires at like 22 psi.

Yeah, but the track prep wasn't too great and that drag radials weren't hooking too good that day. Car has a lot left in it if I can get it to hook.

Nice run!! I live in NC too (raleigh) if you ever want to meet up. definitely could use some help with a tune.

I'll run you raleigh dude! I live there so it's not a drive for me! I gotta warn you though, I'm minutes from having my s1x cam installed...

Didn't realize there were any decent running GP's in my area. Coastal is where my car ran its times a couple years back. As soon as I get some decent drag radials, I should bring it out just to see how it does before it gets put into tear down and rebuild mode.

Went back to the track Friday. DA wasn't as good as the previous time I went to the track but I kept the car in the 13's.

Yeah i hardly see any GP's around Raleigh but apparently there are a few of us on here. We should arrange a meet sometime.

Looks just like how a solid pulley/tune car should run with a good launch/driver.

I ran 13.71 @ 101 with those same mods with PEM's/1.84 YT's and street tires.

Keep it up.

Many people have better experience with letting air out of their tires and warming them on the water strip before the light... For some reason I can't hook well doing either.

I get better luck full air in street tires and just go past the aide of the strip so my tires stay dry, doing that my 60s avg between 2.0-2.06 my best on street tires no warm up or reducing air I've done 1.96 60ft my ET was a 14.004 this was top swap, tune on 16* timing plog and dp stock pulley with 3.29s.

I've ran same tire setup... 2.06 60ft 13.69 et at 101 on a top swap e85 plog, dp , 14* timing 3.4mps. Now the funny part of this first time using e85...

My dumbass had no wideband... Uh I raced a charger till the engine stayed at 121mph while scanning... 15* kr blew cyl. 3 on the head gasket uh... Drove it home as there was no coolant oil mixture just compressed air blowing out the front of the head... Oh and I didn't even chip a piston don't ask how lol 215k on the engine at that time. Yes I didn't know wtf I was doing when I tuned e85 the first time as I leaned out likea retard. Lol this was 3yrs ago now I faithfully love e85 and am safe and use a wideband and aeroforce and my DHP still lol

Off topic just figured I'd share a funny story but retarded at the same time haha
