Needs A Turbo
lined up with a couple buddies last night round 3am.....i had a passenger for both races.

first 03 mustang gt-- catback, intake, bigger tb, tune from a dig me by 7+ cars lol, 20 roll about the same

2nd g8 gt- intake, tune, catback. Dig, me by 1.5 cars :) 25 roll was alot closer.

That is pretty funny/embarassing. You know what else is funny, is when assholes in a GP run around with their nose up talking about how 4.6 mustangs are all ****. Then get walked by one, or two, excuses flying out faster then a honda fanboy. Funny as hell, I watched it happen. Not all 4.6 mustangs are slow, I pretty sure I got two that would make you look silly. Nice kills though.


EDIT: LOL, I was pissed off at work while typing this, i expect to get flamed. So bring it on. You should call me out in a different thread though, as not to **** on this guy's thread. Sorry OP, didn't mean to **** on your thread.

Hey we all know cobras are fast. twin screw v8>eaton v6. Most people will respect a mustang owner, if he/she acts accordingly. But you gotta give it to get it.

I fully agree with you. There are assholes in every car crowd. I'm not a brand loyal type of guy, I love more then a few different cars from more then a few different brands, with the GP being one of them. That being the case, I see haters off all shapes and colors. I guess it pisses me off a lil when I see it. I got into it with some idiot on one of the mustang forums I frequent just the other day for running his mouth about GTP's. It goes both ways, as does respect.

it wasn't me that pissed you off was it, i wasn't trying to be an asshole, i was just stating for what the 4.6 is, sadly it's really slow. but mustangs do out handle a camaro in auto cross :th_thumbsup-wink:
 
cobras are beasts.....duh....comparing a cobra to a gtp is retarded......

ive yet to come across a NA 4.6 that was "beastly" but im sure they are out there for sure......im not one to say my car is fast, nor do i think gtps are fast cars.....they are "quick" i like to call them.....turbo 3800s can be fast tho :)

btw slowpoke that color of the cobra is fukkin money.....i hate you as well haha always wanted a terminator.....

Oh no, I wasn't really aiming at anybody specific. Just a general rant, I agree with you guys on the 4.6. It's a sad motor in stock from, even with bolt ons its kinda sad. However, you can wake them up and get them breathing, it just takes a little work/money.

I appreciate the compliment, I hated the color at first. It was to good of a deal to pass it up regardless of the color. It has grown on me though. Now I'm looking for dark green (not sure of the official name) GTP sedan, hated that color too, until I joined these forums.

Anyway, nice kills, and nice GTP. BTW, how did the G8 sound with the exhaust? Do happen to know what brand?

Yes, you are correct. I apologize for my ignorance on this issue. You know, this is actually really insulting coming from someone who has a 1/4 run of 14.8 in their sig....but your opinion is your right. It's not really worth arguing with you, because it's hard for me to understand where you're coming from. I haven't driven taken a car that slow down the track in years.

i am a true mustang lover and if it came to pick between a gt mustang and a gtp id go with the gt just because i can can give to ****s if my car can berry the needle but gtps are really quick

yes 4.6 sucks and could have been designed better



and i know my car is slow right now im not vragging that its fast i only have a 3.8 pully so i dont expect it to be fast i was just saying that even my 3.8 pully gp could beat a pre 99 mustang and with a little more work could beat a 99+ that is all and the fact i was piss drunk last night lol

the thing about mustang owners is they're douches. Most of them are anyways. the think theyre the sh!t because the bought a "muscle car". when in reality they bought a FAIL car ( or pony car if you want to get technical). most of the owners ive come across keep them stock ( mostly, in some cases exhaust/ intake) and are content with that. This is what irritates me, its how most mustang owners BOUGHT their "badass" car. They did not build it. Yet they act as if others can thrive off of eating their god like sh!t. When ive ran with mustangs its the funniest thing because they look like theyre gna cry when the four door grandma car is either running with them or beating them.

obviously this does not apply to you, youre good in my book.

what i respect is people like boostjunki3 here who have BUILT a beast not bought one. and being humble about it helps alot
