09 ford fusion water in floorboard

Hey guys. My sis has an 09 fusion and she says she's getting water in her passenger side floorboard but only when she has the ac turned on. I'm thinking the ac drain line might be clogged. She says water does come out of the drain line but didn't say how much. But she did say that even an hour after being parked, water was still dripping from the drain line. Anybody else have a fusion with the same issue?

Not many have a fusion on here....try a fusion forum.

I just went through this with my car, I used weed whacker string to clear it out with a good vacuum.

I figured it was worth a shot. Out of all the forums i've been on, this is the most active and actually helpful one. Maybe somebody had a fusion for a DD or something. Haha

have you tryed google? hell there is even a place were they have car repair experts

Google was the first place I looked for info and for any fusion forum. And those car repair expert sites like car gurus or whatever, makes you pay for answers from certified mechanics.

Well you will find the answer sooner by looking for than asking a GP forum about a fusion..

The answer is out there, you just have to find it.

You don't say, really? Never would've thought of that. Genius. Anyways, this forum is a great place to ask for any info. I mean I've even seen some talking about lawn mowers and such. Is that not allowed here either since it's a GP forum? ....Didn't think so. Thanks for your input although it was worthless. Have a good one! Oh and I found out the answer so you can rest easy now.... :th_thumbsup-wink:

Find the drain and try to clear it. I bet a half a gallon of water could pour out.

I found the issue. It's dripping water where the drain is but on the interior side of the firewall if that makes any sense. I have to take a part off to see it completely but I think I may just put some silicone in there and see if that will keep it from leaking because it's literally drop by drop falling and i'm also going to blow some compressed air in there and see if it will clear it up some.
