'08 GXP Trans Shudders When Stopping

Any ideas of the cause for my trans to shudder when stopping? At about 10 mph with each stop, the car shudders as though the trans isn't shifting down. If I select neutral before stopping, all is smooth.

The previous owner put synthetic ATF in it. Fluid is clean, clear, and smells new.

I'm tempted to try Lucas Trans Additive, but thought I'd run this past those of you on the GP forum first.

I don't know--the previous owner put it in. He works at a Mobil Gas Station so it's probably Mobil I Synthetic ATF.

I bet a new PCS <pressure control solenoid> in the trans would fix it. Did you have scanned for stored Transmission codes?

PCS is a $20 part, but it's under the side cover of the trans, and requires a partial cradle drop, and pulling the axle out.

No additive is going to fix it, if the pcs is wonky.
