The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I am looking at the Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS for my 08 GXP but am wonding if it will fit. Crutchfield shows that most the Pioneer double din decks will not fit. Is anyone running this deck in a 04+ GP? Thanks!
I had a avh3100 and just upgraded to an avh4200 and both fit. Crutchfield said the avh3100 wouldn't fit in my friends 2003 Regal but it did with only needing different screws for the side of the mounting kit.

I have an AVIC-Z150BH in my 2005 that Crutchfield said wouldn't fit. I had a P3400 in it before that Crutchfield said wouldn't fit.
I suspect their concerns centered more around the depth of the head units. Both units fit, but they're tight in the back. It's a concern more for the wiring than anything else.
I hacked out a section of the dash support - in front of the OnStar receiver - to give more room for the wiring. If access behind the dash were better, I might have been able to route the wires without doing that.
Remember that you've gotta make room for two adapter boxes, one for the amp/BCM interface and the other for the steering wheel controls. It's there, just make time to do it.
