Hello. My 07 GXP has some ABS issues. It intermittently, now when wet/snow does it all the time, flashes ABS/ Trac off, with a funky power surge?? Locks lock/unlock, flashes all sorts of madness, but then goes away and runs fine until it does it again?? Any clues?? I have started to read in on some threads about bad/loose/wore wiring?? Any info would be great help. Thanks all.

is all this going on while braking in the snow? if so its your abs working, my 98 regal flashes "low trac" when the wheels spin and traction control kicks in or if the abs kicks in it lights up too.
when the traction control kicks in your engine is running at a cut power so the wheels wont over spin, that maybe the power surge you speak of.

initially not just braking. start up, put in gear, and about 5 mph it lurches and flashes service abs/ trac control., then goeas away and runs great. only to do it again when i hit a significant bump or even when driving in wet/snow conditions. And there was door locks locking and unlocking and all the dash lights flashing and full loss of power. sometimes it now does it when i brake in slippery conditions. i took it back to dealer and they supposedly had it serviced and checked out at an electrical place and asid it was no electrical issue. maybe something on the traction control. but in somewhat ice or slippery i can gun it and trac control kicks in and it doesn't do the whole service ABS system thing. After reading all these posts/complaints i keep hoping it is an issue with bad/faulty/worn/coroded wiring on the wheel speed sensor, or something i can do myself. the dealer/ lot said to bring it to a real pontiac dealer and get it checked out. it's really annoying. Anymore ideas? thanks.
