07 Grand Prix - lights dimmimg/pulsating

Hello,
Question with my 07 Grand Prix. I was driving down the road at all different speeds and my dash lights, radio lights, head lights, tail lights, dome light were all pulsating. Car seemed to run fine. I drove a few miles and turned the car off. Started again drove few more miles and turned off car and started up again. 5 times I'm guessing. Eventually it quit pulsating. This happened 6 months ago also and when I took it to my mechanic they couldn't find anything. It might not happen for another 3 months but I would like to fix the problem. I did replace the alternator before this happened for a different issue not related to this problem. I'm no mechanic so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your guess is as good as mine.

There is no way to know what the cause is when this hasn't happened in 6 months or more. The problem has to be present to even begin to do diagnostic work to try and figure out the issue.

All I can tell you to do is clean and check over all power and ground connections at the engine and battery. Make sure everything is clean and tight.

Lol. Ya that’s what mechanic told me. Kinda of figured didn’t know if anyone might have had this happen to them. Thanks for the reply

My guess is a faulty ground wire. I'll pull up the schematics and see what I can figure.
